I just found out im pregnant and ive been reading too much online which is honestly scaring me. Having a bit of one sided dull pain too so the ectopic thing is on my mind. Planning to talk to my gynac but wanted to know how soon they can catch it.
I had an ectopic and mine got picked up around 6 weeks on the pelvic scan when they couldnt find the sac in the uterus. They also tracked my hCG levels. Please if you have sharp one sided pain, shoulder tip pain, or spotting, go to doctor immediately, dont wait.
My doctor explained it can usually be detected around 5-7 weeks through ultrasound combined with hCG blood levels. If hCG is rising but the scan shows no sac in the uterus, they suspect ectopic. Early checkup is key, so if anything feels off, get checked soon.
I know this is a scary thing to think about, sending you strength. They often catch it early with close monitoring of hCG and an early scan, around 6 weeks. If you have concerns or any pain, please reach out to your doctor right away, dont sit on it.
Usually by around 6 weeks on the early scan and through blood hormone levels they can tell. The main thing beta, dont ignore severe one sided pain, dizziness or bleeding, go to the doctor at once if that happens. Early checking keeps you safe.
