How early in pregnancy can you get morning sickness?
I think im around 5 weeks and already feeling queasy in the mornings, didnt expect it this soon. Is it normal to start so early or am i imagining things? Curious when it hit u all.
My doctor explained that morning sickness usually begins around week 6 when hCG levels start peaking rapidly. It typically peaks between weeks 9 and 12 and then begins to settle down. If your vomiting is severe and you can't keep liquids down, please contact your gynac immediately.
For me, the nausea started around week 6, which was actually a comforting sign for me after my previous loss, as it meant hormones were strong. But please remember, every pregnancy is different and some women don't get morning sickness at all. Just take one gentle day at a time.
I totally feel you, morning sickness hit me like a truck in week 6 and I spent so many mornings crying in the bathroom. It is physically and emotionally so exhausting, but your body is doing an amazing job. Sending you the biggest hug, you are so strong!
I felt my very first wave of nausea at week 5, and I remember feeling so overwhelmed because I didn't expect it to start so early. Every smell, even my husband's perfume, made me feel sick. It was a crazy ride, but seeing my baby now makes every single nauseous morning worth it.
I started feeling extremely nauseous by week 5 itself, even before I took my pregnancy test! It was so tough, but sipping ginger water and eating small meals really saved me. Now that I am breastfeeding, those days feel like a distant memory, so hang in there.
Mine started around week 6, but I kept telling myself it's just a sign of my baby growing healthy and strong! Staying positive, going for short fresh-air walks, and eating dry toast helped me get through it. You will cross this phase soon, stay cheerful!
