My last period was somewhere around mid last month and i just tested positive yesterday. Im confused how to count the weeks properly. How do u figure out how far along you actually are before the first scan?
Tell ur gynac the first day of ur last period and they will tell u exactly how many weeks. The early scan confirms it. Dont try too hard to calculate yourself, doc will be precise.
I was confused about this too in the beginning, the LMP thing kept confusing me. So my first scan finally cleared it up. Did the dates match for u after scan?
Easiest way is to count from the first day of ur last period, most apps calculate it for u automatically. I used one and it gave me weeks plus due date. But the dating scan gives the most accurate number actually.
