From what our fertility doctor explained, they stimulate the ovaries, retrieve the eggs, fertilise them with sperm outside the body, and after a few days transfer the best embryo. Then comes the wait for the test. Each clinic guides you through it carefully.
I went through IVF, so simply put the eggs are collected and fertilised with sperm in a lab, then the embryo is placed back in the uterus. It sounds clinical but its full of hope, trust me. Your doctor explains each step gently, you are not alone in this journey.
