The first scan at 7-8 weeks is usually a TVS because the embryo is too small to be seen clearly via abdominal scan. It is quick, routine, and absolutely nothing to worry about.
In early pregnancy, especially for IVF, a transvaginal scan (TVS) is very common to check the tiny heartbeat clearly. It doesn't hurt at all, so please stay relaxed.
Actually, for my first scan, they did a TVS yaar because it was only 6 weeks. It's super normal and you get to hear the heartbeat for the first time, which is amazing!
