Im 6 weeks and the nausea has just started, havent actually thrown up yet but feels like its coming. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for how bad it gets. How was it for you all?
Beta this is the body adjusting, very common. A little nimbu paani or saunf or ginger can settle the tummy. But if it is too much and you cant eat at all, show the doctor, that is not to be ignored.
A bit of vomiting is normal early on. But if you cant keep ANY food or water down, or feel very weak and dizzy, please call your gynac. That heavy non stop vomiting needs treatment, dont tough it out alone.
Ugh it varies so much. For me it was every morning and any strong smell would set it off, sometimes just nausea sometimes actual vomiting. Small frequent meals and not staying empty stomach helped me the most. Keep some biscuits by the bed.
Honestly it comes uninvited like a surprise guest, usually triggered by the smell of something cooking. Annoying but very normal. Ginger, lemon, dry toast, find your hero food and keep it handy.
I felt queasy almost all day in the first trimester, not just mornings like people say. It usually eased after I ate something dry. It got better around 13-14 weeks for me, hang in there.
