How long a conceived mother can feed her first baby?
I just found out im pregnant again and my first one is still on feed. Thoda confused whether i should continue ya stop now. How long is it ok to keep feeding once ur expecting again?
I totally understand how hard it is to think about weaning your first baby. It is such an emotional bond, but please listen to your body too. Take care of your health, you are doing amazing.
Hey, don't stress too much about it! You can feed your toddler as long as you feel comfortable and healthy. If you feel too exhausted, it is perfectly okay to slowly wean them off.
I successfully delivered normally and breastfed during early pregnancy too. It is totally doable if your doctor says your pregnancy is low-risk. Just ensure you eat a super healthy diet.
I get so anxious about managing two babies back-to-back. Did anyone else feel extreme fatigue trying to breastfeed while pregnant? I'd love to know how you managed the exhaustion.
Please be very careful with this. Since breastfeeding can sometimes trigger mild contractions, it's best to consult your gynac first, especially if you've had any past complications. Your safety is most important.
Haan na, it gets very tiring to manage both things together. I fed my elder one for a few weeks after conceiving but then stopped. Just listen to your body and don't push yourself too much.
Haan, feeding both is not easy na. Many moms do tandem feeding, but you will need extra nutrition for yourself. If you feel weak, start reducing the feeds gradually.
My mother-in-law advised me to stop breastfeeding my first child as soon as I conceived the second one. She said it might take away nourishment from the new baby, but I think consulting a doctor is best.
Usually, you can feed as long as you want if there are no complications like cramps or bleeding. But do discuss with your doctor because breastfeeding releases oxytocin which can cause mild uterine contractions.
Just stay positive and take good care of your health, God will give you strength. If your body is happy, you can continue feeding for some time. Make sure you are eating nutritious food.
When I got pregnant with my second, I continued feeding my first one for about 3 months. My nipples got really sensitive, so I decided to stop then. It's totally a personal comfort thing.
I am planning my second pregnancy and keep wondering about this too. Is it safe to feed during pregnancy or does it cause weakness? Really helpful to read everyone's experiences here.
