How long can we able to conceive after having sex?
Me and my husband are trying since 2 months and im just confused about the timing. Like after we do it, how many days does it actually take for conception to happen? Curious if anyone knows roughly.
My tracker app explained the fertile window nicely, the days leading up to ovulation are the most useful. Since sperm survives several days, dont expect a same day thing. The app predictions helped us a lot.

Sperm can live inside for up to about 5 days, so conception can happen anytime in that window if you ovulate. The egg itself only lasts around a day after release. So timing around ovulation is what really matters.
Fertilisation usually happens within a few days of the act, depending on when you ovulate. So implantation and a positive test take longer still. If you are trying, focusing on the fertile days is the practical move.
