Just curious, after conception how early can a test actually pick it up? My period isnt due for another week but im so tempted to check already. Will it even show this soon?
If you mean how soon, then after the missed period for a home kit. Blood test picks it up a few days sooner. Once pregnant it shows easily on tests and scans.
I wasnt sure if a late test would still show. Good to know it stays positive once you are actually pregnant. The early days had me checking constantly haha.
A urine test detects it once your period is missed, and a blood test even a bit earlier. My doctor said hcg keeps rising so it stays detectable throughout. The earliest reliable home test is after the missed period.
