How long does blood spotting last in early pregnancy?
Im around 6 weeks and noticed some light brown spotting since yesterday, not heavy but enough to scare me. Im planning to call my gynac today to be safe. Just wanted to know how long this usually goes on for others, getting a bit anxious.
Honestly I would have googled this a hundred times in ur place. Short light spotting can be normal and brief, but I never trusted myself to judge it, I always called the doc. Do that, it stops the overthinking and they will tell u if its fine.
Mild early spotting often passes within a day or two and many of us have had it. Try not to panic. But keep watching it, and if it doesnt settle soon or comes with pain or heavier flow, get to ur doctor without delay. Take care of urself.

I want to gently say, dont wait it out at home guessing. A little light brown spotting can be ok early on, but any fresh red bleeding, clots, or spotting with cramps and pain needs a call to ur doctor right away. Better to get checked and be reassured.
Light implantation spotting usually lasts just a day or two, sometimes a few hours, and is light pink or brown. My doc said that kind is common in early weeks. But if it lasts longer, gets heavier or turns into proper red bleeding, thats when u call her.
