How long does it take after conception to become pregnant?

We are trying since 2 months and i keep getting confused about the timeline. Like after the egg meets, how many days till it actually implants and u r officially pregnant? Trying to understand my own cycle better.

My gynac explained that after the egg is fertilised it takes about 6 to 10 days for it to implant in the uterus, and only then hcg rises. So technically pregnancy is established after implantation. Thats why testing too early gives nothing.

Conception and then implantation take roughly a week to ten days together. The test only turns positive once implantation happens and hcg builds up. So patience till the missed period is key.
