We have been trying for about 3 months and still no luck, my friends got pregnant so fast so im wondering if im taking too long. Is this normal or should i be worried already? would love to hear how long it took for others.
It really varies, for many it's within a few months to a year of trying. It's not always first try, that's totally normal. Track your fertile days, stay healthy, and give it time without panic.
We just started trying and I had this exact question. From what I learnt it can take a few months and that's normal, not everyone conceives instantly. It helped me relax knowing that. Trying not to count every month now.
There's no fixed answer and I say this softly, for some it's quick and for others it takes longer, and both are okay. Most couples conceive within a year. If it's taking longer, please dont blame yourself, a doctor can gently help. Sending you love.
Dont put pressure on yourself. For most it happens within a year of trying, sometimes sooner sometimes a bit later. Take care of your health, track your cycle, and trust the process. If a year passes, then see a doctor calmly.
My gynac told me about 8 in 10 couples conceive within a year of regular trying. If you're under 35 and it's been a year, or over 35 and it's been 6 months, that's when to get checked. Timing around ovulation speeds things up.
