How long does it take to conceive after infertility treatment?
We started treatment few months back after trying for almost 2 years. The waiting is making me so anxious and i keep wondering how long it normally takes for others. Pls share ur journey, it would really help me stay hopeful.
There is honestly no fixed number, it is so different for everyone. For me it took a couple of cycles of treatment before it worked and the waiting was the hardest part emotionally. Be kind to yourself, and lean on your doctor and people who get it.
With my PCOS the treatment took some tries before things clicked, so I wouldnt want to promise you a timeline. Every body responds differently and that is okay. Your specialist knows your case best, trust their plan.
My doctor said it really depends on the type of treatment and the cause, IUI may take a few cycles, IVF can work in one or take more. She told me not to compare with others. The success builds over attempts, so patience helps.
Yaar dont count days too much, I have seen friends get it fast and some take a while, both ended happy. Stress only makes the wait feel worse. Keep faith in your treatment and your doctor.
I totally understand the ache of this question, the waiting after treatment is so heavy. There is no one answer, but please dont lose hope. Many of us got there after some tries, your turn will come.
