How long does it take to detect pregnancy in urine?
Im planning to do a home test soon and dont want to mess up the timing. So basically how many days after does it actually show up in urine? trying to avoid a false negative again.
My app said hcg in urine becomes detectable around missed period day. I tested then and it showed, faint at first then darker after two days. Morning pee really does work better.
Usually by the time your period is late, a urine strip will pick it up. Some early kits a day or two before, but not always clear. Use first morning urine for the best read.
My doc said urine tests can detect hcg roughly from the time of your missed period, sometimes a couple days before with sensitive kits. She said morning urine is most reliable. Too early and the level is just too low to show.
