How long it takes to confirm pregnancy after intercourse?

We are trying and i keep wanting to test the very next week which i know is silly. How many days do u actually have to wait before a test shows anything reliable?

Haan ekdum turant pata nahi chalta na. Lagbhag period miss hone ke baad hi kit sahi result deta hai. Tab tak sabar karna padta hai.

I kept wondering this too, like can I know next day haha. But no, you really have to wait for the period to be late. I tested around the missed date and it showed clearly.

Around 2 weeks, basically after your period gets missed. Dont test before that.

My doc explained it takes around 1-2 weeks after for hcg to build up enough. So testing usually makes sense only after your missed period, roughly 2-3 weeks post intercourse. Earlier than that the kit may not catch it.

You cant confirm it the next day, body needs time. Wait till period is due, test, and if still unsure a blood test at the lab confirms even earlier and more clearly than the home kit.
