My doctor put me on susten in the first trimester and i didnt ask exactly till when i need to continue. Im 14 weeks now and still taking it. Just wanted to know roughly how long others were on it, i will confirm with my gynac too.
Please dont fix the duration on your own for this one. Susten is given for support and only your gynac knows how long you need it based on your reports. I was told to never stop suddenly without asking her.
I had support meds too and learnt the hard way not to assume timelines. Best to ring your gynac and confirm, she'll tell you when to taper. Safer that way for you and baby.
This is totally a doctor call yaar, not something to decide from a community. Each lady's dose and weeks are different. Ask your gynac directly and dont stop on your own.
I was on it during my pregnancy and the timing really depends on each person's case, so I'd gently say follow exactly what your doctor wrote. For me she decided week by week. Don't compare with anyone else's duration.
