How long should i wait to conceive aftr miscarriage?
Had a miscarriage last month and still recovering emotionally tbh. We want to try again but im confused how much gap to keep. I will ask my gynac also but wanted to hear from women who went through this.
I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, I know how heartbreaking this phase is. My doctor advised me to wait at least 2 to 3 normal cycles so that the uterine lining heals completely and you also get some emotional space. Please don't rush, give yourself time to heal both physically and mentally.
I have seen many moms here go through this, and most are able to conceive a healthy baby after waiting just 2 to 3 months. The main thing is to make sure your body has recovered its iron levels and your mind is ready. You will get through this, stay strong.
Honestly, don't rush into it immediately out of panic or pressure. Most doctors recommend waiting for at least 3 months or about 2-3 cycles so your hormones settle down. Get your basic blood tests done, check with your gynac, and only start when you feel completely ready.
Even though I had a C-section later, I had a miscarriage earlier in my journey and physical recovery is so important. Your body goes through a lot of hormonal changes, so letting your body rest for a few months helps build a stronger base. Take care and heal first.
At home, my mother and grandmother suggested waiting for six months to let the body regain strength with traditional foods. But when we consulted our doctor, she said three months is perfectly fine if all reports are clear. Trust your doctor's word and go at your own comfortable pace.
Bacha, first focus on your health and mental peace. Uterus needs some time to recover and heal, so waiting for 2-3 cycles is the safest thing to do. Don't let anyone pressure you to try again immediately, take your own sweet time.
I was so panicked after my miscarriage, thinking I would never be able to conceive again or that I had to wait years. But my gynac cleared us to try after 3 cycles, and I got pregnant again very smoothly. Everything will fall into place, just give it a little time.
