After delivery, the body needs support, for sure. Many women wear it for a few weeks, some even a couple of months, for that core stability. If you feel any discomfort or pain with it, don't just keep wearing it. Best to check with your doctor; they can guide you on the right duration and type.
In our culture, my MIL insisted on a traditional cloth wrap after delivery, saying it helps the stomach go back. But for modern binders, generally, 6-8 weeks is what doctors recommend for support and comfort. Always ask your gynac, they know best for your specific case, whether it was normal delivery or C-section.
My doctor recommended wearing it for about 6 weeks after delivery, especially since I had a C-section. It really helps with the incision healing and support. With my thyroid issues during pregnancy, I was very careful to follow all my doctor's instructions for recovery and continued check-ups, so definitely ask your gynac.
After enduring all that morning sickness, recovery is another hurdle, isn't it? For the abdominal binder, many doctors suggest wearing it for 4-6 weeks, sometimes up to 2-3 months. It provides good support, especially if you had a C-section. But please, consult your gynac first to see what's best for your body.
Beta, after delivery, the body is very delicate. A good binder gives support. Many women wear it for at least a month, sometimes two. Some of our elders used to recommend even traditional wraps. Just make sure it's not too tight and comfortable. If you have any concerns, talk to your doctor, they will know best.
Oh god, the binder! I wore mine for like 6 weeks maybe? Honestly, after a point, it just got annoying and hot, especially with a newborn demanding all my attention. It helps with support but don't feel guilty if you ditch it when you're super tired. Sleep is more important, haha.
My mom bought me a good binder and made sure I wore it daily for about 6 weeks after delivery. She said it helps the uterus go back and gives good support to your back. It really helped me while I was healing. Just listen to your body and what your gynac advises.
