How long should you wait to take a pregnancy test?

My period is 3 days late and im so tempted to test right now but i dont want a wrong result and then get my hopes up. How many days should i actually wait for it to show correctly? trying since 4 months.

I tested 2 days after missed period and it showed clear. Earlier the line was so faint I couldnt tell. Use first morning pee, more accurate they say.

Best is to wait till ur period is missed by a few days, then test with morning urine. Testing too early gives false negative, I made that mistake first time.

Dont stress and test daily yaar, it just makes u anxious. Give it till period is late by 3-4 days, then check. If still unsure, blood test at lab is the surest.
