How long to recover from ectopic pregnancy surgery?
Went through this last week and im still feeling so weak and low. Doctor explained but mera dimaag uss time blank tha so i couldnt take it in properly. How long did it take you all to feel normal again, physically and emotionally?
Ectopic surgery is a major complication, so recovery isn't just physical but emotional too. Please follow your doctor's advice on heavy lifting, pelvic rest, and go for all follow-up scans to ensure your HCG levels come back to zero.
Physical pain toh physical recovery ke saath chala jayega, but take care of your mind too, ho na. Usually, 1 month is needed for the body to heal inside, so please eat well and rest, haan na.
Oof, recovering from surgery while dealing with hormone drops is no joke—I'm in my 3rd trimester now and just walking feels like a marathon, so I can't imagine! Give yourself at least 4-6 weeks of doing absolutely nothing, and make your partner do all the chores!
I am so sorry you had to go through this. I am currently pregnant and this was one of my biggest fears early on. How are you feeling emotionally now, and did your doctor say when it's safe to try again?
Look, the laparoscopic wounds might heal in 2 weeks, but internal healing takes a full 6 weeks. I've had two kids and been through surgeries—do not lift heavy buckets, avoid stairs as much as possible, and don't rush back to your normal routine.
