Im 40 weeks 3 days and still no signs of labour, getting thoda anxious now. My MIL keeps saying her time it went very long. Just curious how long can it actually go?
Hmm, I've heard sometimes babies can be a little late, like past 40 weeks. It must feel really long for the mother then. I hope whenever I get pregnant, everything goes smoothly and on time, but I guess it's okay if it takes a little longer too.
Oh my god, I used to worry about this SO much when I was pregnant, especially after my due date passed! My gynac actually explained that 'due date' is just an estimate, and a few days or even a week past is totally normal. Please don't panic like I did, your doctor will monitor everything.
The waiting game towards the end feels like the longest pregnancy ever, doesn't it? Every day past the due date feels like an eternity. But soon, your little one will be in your arms, and all those worries about 'how long' will just melt away. Hang in there, mama!
Haan ji, I've heard stories na, some babies really take their time! My dadi used to say aise bache bade tez hote hain. But normally doc bolte hain 40 weeks tak is ok, thoda upar-neeche chalta hai. Dont stress too much!
With IVF, we are always so careful about every single step, and even the due date is calculated so precisely. Sometimes babies do take a little longer than expected to arrive, but what matters is your doctor's guidance and continuous monitoring. Trust your medical team.
Mine wasn't super long, but my friend actually went 41 weeks and 3 days! It felt like forever to her. Her doctor just monitored her closely, did regular check-ups, and everything turned out fine. Most doctors induce after a certain point if the baby doesn't come naturally, but usually, it's just a few days extra.
