How long will a pregnancy test be positive after miscarriage?
Had a miscarriage about 2 weeks back, still emotionally recovering. Took a test out of curiosity and it showed faint positive still. Is this normal, kitne din tak it stays positive? Asking because i dont want to confuse myself.
It is very hard physically and mentally, I know. It can take around 2-6 weeks for the test to become negative depending on how far along you were. Drink coconut water, rest well, and let your body recover slowly.
Ho na, it takes a lot of time to show negative, almost a month for some. My friend also went through this and she was so confused. Thoda time do body ko, don't worry too much dear.
Take a deep breath, dear. It takes time for the hCG hormone levels to go back to normal, sometimes even 3 to 4 weeks. Please don't rush your body to heal, take physical rest and eat warm home-cooked food right now.
I went through this last year and I felt so heartbroken when the test kept showing positive even after 3 weeks. My doctor explained that hormone levels drop very slowly. It took almost a month for me, so please be gentle with yourself.
I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. I am in my second trimester now and always worry about these things. Did your doctor do a follow-up scan to make sure everything is completely clear?
I panicked like crazy when my test was positive even after 2 weeks of miscarriage. I thought something was wrong, but my gynac said it's completely normal for hCG to take weeks to leave the system. It will fade soon, stay strong.
