How many days after ovulation pregnancy test can be done?
We are trying this month and im super impatient yaar. I know my ovulation date roughly, just wanna know after how many days testing makes sense so i dont waste kits too early.
Yes, 12-14 days after ovulation is when the kit can detect the hormone. For best results, use your first morning urine sample as it is most concentrated.
Having PCOS, my cycles were always irregular so I had to be very careful. Ideally, wait for at least 14 days after ovulation, or even better, wait for your missed period to avoid false negatives.
Usually, 12 to 14 days post ovulation is good. I had to monitor everything so closely due to gestational diabetes, and waiting for the first day of missed period gave me the clearest result.
Just wait for 14 days post ovulation or the day of your missed period. Don't waste money on testing too early, the hCG levels won't be high enough anyway.
Since I had a previous miscarriage, my doctor advised me to wait strictly till 14 days post ovulation before testing. It's always safer to wait a bit so you don't get anxious over chemical pregnancies.
Waiting is hard, but try to keep yourself busy with light household chores or knitting. I'd suggest testing only after a missed period so you get an accurate result.
Haha, the urge to pee on a stick every day is so real! But try to hold your horses till at least 14 days after ovulation, otherwise those faint lines will just drive you crazy.
