How many days after spotting can i test for pregnancy?

Had some light spotting around the time i expected my period and now im confused if it was implantation or just early periods. dont want to test too soon and get a wrong result. how long should i wait?

If that spotting was implantation, testing about 3 to 4 days after usually still gives a faint or wrong result because hCG is still low. Best to wait till the day your period is due or a couple days after for an accurate home test, with first morning urine.

I tested too early after spotting and got a negative, then positive 4 days later. Did that happen to anyone else? The waiting is the hardest part honestly. Try to hold off till your period is actually late.

Dont test too early yaar, u will only confuse yourself. Wait at least till your missed period date. If spotting was a few days before that, give it about a week from the spotting for a clearer result. Use the first morning pee.

My doctor said home tests are most accurate from the day of your expected period onwards. If the spotting was implantation, that happens about 6 to 12 days after ovulation, so a test around or after the missed period date is your best bet. A blood test at the lab can confirm even earlier if u cant wait.
