I have one strip lying at home and im so tempted to use it already. My period is still few days away tho. Will it even show anything this early or should i wait, anyone tried testing before the date?
My doc said testing before the period date often gives false negative coz hCG is still low. She told me to wait till the day period is due or one day after for an accurate result. I tested too early once and got negative, then positive 3 days later.
Best is on the day your period is supposed to come or after. Early test can lie. If u really cant wait, some sensitive kits show 2-3 days before but dont fully trust those.
Better to wait till your period is actually late, na. Testing too soon gave my sister a wrong negative and she was so upset. Family kept saying wait few days, and doctor said same.
I get the urge to test early, I did it like 4 times before my date out of impatience lol. Honestly waiting till the missed period day saves u the heartbreak of faint or false negatives. Use first morning urine.
