Just found out im pregnant, around 5 weeks. The breast pain is bohot and im wondering how long this lasts. Does it stay the whole first trimester or settle in few days? curious how it was for u all.
For me, it lasted till about the 10th or 11th week and then gradually decreased. My baby is a toddler now and I barely remember that pain, so don't worry, it is just hormones working. It will pass soon!
Mine lasted for almost the whole first trimester. Since I had to manage my gestational diabetes, I couldn't even rely on comfort foods to feel better! Just wear very comfortable, wire-free bras and do some light walking if possible.
It is so painful and can make you worry if everything is okay with the baby. Honestly, sore breasts are a very normal sign of early pregnancy and usually get better by week 12. Don't worry too much, you are doing great.
Yaar, for me it actually lasted for about 3-4 weeks in the beginning. It was so annoying to even wear a normal bra! I shifted to seamless cotton ones and it made a huge difference.
I asked my hospital's lactation expert about this during my early checkup and they said it's very normal. It usually settles down after the first few weeks as the body adjusts. Just mention it to your gynecologist in your next appointment to be absolutely sure.
I am currently in my 8th week and my breasts are still so sore and heavy. Does it usually go away completely after the first trimester, or does it come back? Wearing a soft sports bra is the only thing helping me right now.
My soreness lasted for a few weeks but doing very light stretching and walking helped distract me. My doctor had allowed me to do gentle yoga, which helped with overall body aches too. Make sure to consult your doc before starting any exercises.
