How many days delay in periods confirms pregnancy?
My period is 3 din late and im going crazy refreshing my mind every hour, haha. Dont want to test too soon and see wrong result. After how many days delay can i be a bit more sure? Anyone been through this confusion?
A delay of about 5-6 days is usually when a home test can clearly confirm it. I tested after a week's delay before my C-section journey started. Waiting those few days is tough, but it prevents any confusion.
Arre, at least wait for 5 to 7 days of delay before checking. Testing on the exact date of your period will only give a faint line and confuse you. Have some patience, let the hormone build up, then test.
Don't test too early. A delay of 5 days is the sweet spot for a clear positive. If your cycle is irregular, wait for at least 10 days before checking to avoid false negatives.
I got a faint positive after a 3-day delay, but when I tested again after a week, it was a very bright, clear double line. If you can, wait for a 5-day delay to do the home test. It gives the most accurate result.
With my twins, I tested on the very first day of my missed period and got a dark line immediately because of high hormones! But practically, a delay of 5 to 7 days is best to get a 100% reliable answer. Otherwise, you'll just keep squinting at faint lines!
