Bit of a basic doubt but i keep getting confused with weeks vs months calculation. just want to know roughly the total days from start to delivery. someone clear this for me?
My gynac explained it's about 40 weeks or 280 days from the first day of your last period, not from conception. Full term is considered 37 to 42 weeks, so a few weeks either side is normal. Very few babies actually arrive exactly on the due date.
My app counted it as 40 weeks from LMP which is about 280 days. It gave me a due date but warned me only around 5 percent deliver exactly on it. Mine came 8 days early, totally normal.
Around 280 days, that's roughly 40 weeks or 9 months counted from your last period date. Both my deliveries were around 39 weeks though, babies don't always wait for the exact date.
Roughly nine months beta, around 40 weeks from your last period. Don't fix your mind too much on one date, baby comes when ready, anytime from 37 weeks is fine.
