First time pregnant and im just trying to understand the full count, like from when do we start counting the days till baby comes. My EDD is given but I want to understand the actual number of days behind it. Maybe a silly doubt but anyways.
Its about 280 days from your last period, roughly 40 weeks or 9 months and a bit. But babies dont read calendars, anywhere from 37 to 42 weeks is normal. Both mine came a little before the due date.

40 weeks they say, but those last few feel like 40 years honestly haha. Im counting down right now. Doc told me anytime from 37 weeks is considered full term, so Im just waiting patiently-ish.
Full term is around 40 weeks counted from your last period, so about 280 days. My app gave a due date but the doctor confirmed it with the scan. Just remember the date is an estimate, not a fixed deadline.
