My period is usually pretty regular and now its been a couple days late. i keep wanting to grab a kit but scared its still too early. how many days do you all wait after the missed date?
My gynac said roughly a week after the missed period for the urine test gives a dependable result. A blood test can be done a bit earlier, around 10 days after conception. So the urine kit just needs that little wait.
I literally counted days and tested too soon out of impatience, got a negative and panicked for nothing. It was just early. Try to wait the week after your missed period, it saves so much tension.
Wait till your period is missed, then test, ideally a few days to a week after. Before that the hormone is too low to show clearly. Patience saves you the false negative stress.
