We just started trying this cycle and im way too impatient already haha. Like does it happen the same day or takes few days? Just trying to understand the timing.
Sperm can live a few days inside, so it doesnt have to be the same hour as ovulation. Conception roughly happens within 24 hours of the egg releasing. Dont stress over exact days, just have regular intercourse around your fertile window.
We are also trying and I kept wondering the same thing nervously. So it is not instant, it takes about a week or more for it to settle. Thank you for explaining, this calms me down a little.
My doctor explained that fertilisation can happen within a day or so, but implantation takes about 6 to 10 days after that. So you cant really feel pregnant the very next day. That is also why testing too early gives a false negative.
Honestly yaar dont count days obsessively, it drove me mad. It takes around a week for implantation, so testing the next morning is pointless. Relax, enjoy the process, it happens when it happens.
