How many days to confirm pregnancy for irregular periods?
My cycles have always been all over the place so i never know when im actually late. We are trying now and i dont know how long to wait before testing. Anyone with irregular periods who can share when u tested?
My doctor said with irregular cycles, count about 21 days after possible conception before a home test, since you cant rely on a missed period. The blood hCG test can detect it even a bit earlier and more accurately. Best to confirm with your gynac if results are confusing.
With irregular periods like mine, the missed period trick doesnt work well. I waited around 3 weeks after the likely intercourse and then tested, and even then I confirmed with a blood test. A beta hCG blood test is honestly the most reliable for us.
