My period is late by 4 days and im trying to control myself from testing too early lol. We have been trying this month. When is the right time to take the test so I get a proper result? Dont want a false one.
Best to wait till your period is at least a day or two late, otherwise you may get a false negative. I tested too early once and it showed negative, then positive after few days. So patience pays here.
My tracker app suggested testing on the day my period was due or after. Morning urine gives the clearest result. If its too early the hormone level is too low to detect, so a few days late is more reliable.
I was so impatient I tested 3 days early and got a faint line, then a clear one later. Honestly waiting till after the missed period saved me a lot of confusion. Use first morning pee, works better.
Give it time dear. Around a week after the missed period the result is quite accurate. If it shows positive, book a gynac visit to confirm with a blood test. No rush, take it easy.
