How many days to test for pregnancy after ovulation?
Im tracking my ovulation this cycle and the waiting is honestly the hardest part. Dont want to test too early and get a wrong result. How many days did you all wait before testing?
We are trying too and I learnt this recently, around 14 days after ovulation is best. I tested too soon the first time and it was negative, then positive a few days later, so confusing and emotional. Better to wait a little, the result is clearer.
Usually testing around 12 to 14 days after ovulation gives a more reliable result, which is roughly the day your period is due. Testing too early can show a false negative even if you are pregnant. If you can, wait till the missed period for a clear answer.
I know the wait is so hard, I always want to test at day 8 itself haha. But from experience, testing before like 12 days post ovulation just gave me confusing faint or negative lines. Waiting till the period is due saves a lot of heartache, trust me.
Give it about two weeks after ovulation, basically test on or just after the day your period should come. Earlier than that the hormone level is too low to show properly. Use first morning urine for the best result.
