How many days white discharge during early pregnancy?
Im around 6 weeks and noticing white discharge daily now. It started a few days back and hasnt stopped. Is this something that lasts the whole time ya just early on? wanted to know others experience.
Oh God, I just delivered and I remember this perfectly! For me, it was pretty much constant during my first and second trimesters. It was thin and white, nothing to worry about. Only if it smells bad or you feel itchy, then it's a sign to check with your gynac.
Increased white discharge is super common in early pregnancy, like almost daily for some. It's just your body adapting. As long as it's not green, yellow, chunky, or smelly, it's fine. Don't stress too much about it unless symptoms change, then call your doc.
From my experience, that white discharge can be quite persistent in early pregnancy. It's usually a normal physiological change. I remember I had it for most of my first trimester. Just make sure to wear breathable cotton underwear and maintain good hygiene. If it causes any irritation, then consult your doctor.
I totally understand why you're asking, it can be a bit concerning when you notice changes like that. Many women experience increased white discharge from the very start of pregnancy, and it can actually last for many weeks. It's usually a normal and healthy sign, showing your body is nurturing your little one.
My doctor explained that increased white discharge, called leukorrhea, is very common in early pregnancy and often continues throughout. It's usually thin, milky-white, and mild-smelling. This is due to increased estrogen and blood flow to the vaginal area. It's a sign your body is protecting the birth canal from infection. If it changes colour, smells strong, or causes itching, then definitely see your gynac.
Oh, the never-ending white discharge saga! It feels like it's every day, right? But honestly, it's quite normal to have increased discharge throughout early pregnancy. Your body is just doing its thing, getting ready for the baby. As long as it's not smelly or itchy, you're good.
