Everyone is telling me to eat more protein and eggs are the easiest for me. But im not sure how many in a day is too much. Whats a safe number you all stick to?
Eggs were a saviour for me as they dont spike sugar. I had a couple a day. But how many is best really depends on your overall diet, so a quick word with your doctor helps.
My gynac said 1 to 2 well cooked eggs daily is fine for most pregnancies, great for protein and choline. The main rule she stressed was no half boiled or runny, fully cooked only to avoid infection.
I used to have 1-2 eggs a day, fully cooked, good protein source. But if you have any cholesterol or sugar issue, check with your doctor on the number. Just make sure they are well cooked, no runny yolk.
I used to take one boiled egg in morning, kept me full nicely. Amma said good for baby's growth. Just make sure its cooked well ma, and ask your doctor if your numbers are all fine.
