My mom soaks anjeer for me every morning and says it's good for baby. But im not sure kitne is the right amount in a day. Don't want to overdo it. Anyone?
My hospital's nutritionist told me that 2-3 dried figs a day is the ideal limit during pregnancy. They are highly nutritious but also rich in natural sugars. Always check with your doctor if you have any blood sugar concerns before adding them to your daily diet.
Currently at 36 weeks and dealing with massive constipation, so figs (anjeer) have been my best friends. I eat 2 soaked ones every morning. Don't overdo it unless you want to spend the whole day in the loo, trust me!
Soaking 2 to 3 figs in water overnight and eating them in the morning is excellent for digestion and iron. I did this throughout my pregnancy and it really helped keep my hemoglobin levels up. Just wash them well before soaking.
Figs can be quite expensive, but they are great for preventing iron deficiency, saving you money on extra medical supplements. Just 2 soaked figs a day is perfect and cost-effective. Buy them in bulk from wholesale shops to save some money!
