We started trying around 4 months back and still nothing, im slowly getting a little impatient na. Just want to know if this is normal and roughly how long it usually takes for most couples. Honestly need some reassurance here.
It has been three months for us and I was starting to feel low. Reading that up to a year is normal makes me breathe easier. Thank you all for being kind about it.
Dont count the months and worry, that pressure does more harm than good. If a full year of regular trying passes with nothing, then go see a doctor. Until then, track your fertile days and relax.
For most healthy couples it is anywhere from a couple of months up to a year, so dont stress in the early months. My first took four months, my second nearly a year. It really differs from person to person.
With my PCOS it took longer than average, so I dont want to give you one fixed number. If your cycles are irregular, get checked earlier instead of waiting a year. For most others, patience over several months is normal.
