Im 4 months along and craving pista and other dry fruits like crazy. I keep munching them through the day but now wondering if too much is okay or not. Kitne pista a day is fine yaar?
Pistachios are great because they have low glycemic index, but don't eat salted ones. I used to have 4-5 unsalted ones daily during my GD phase as a safe snack.
I basically live on dry fruits because cooking in my 3rd trimester feels like a chore. Eating a small handful, like 6 to 8 pistas a day is perfect, just don't finish the whole packet!
Soak a handful of pistas overnight with almonds, it is very good for health. But if you have any severe acidity or stomach pain after eating nuts, do talk to your doctor.
