First pregnancy so everything is new for me. I just want to know roughly how many scans happen over the full nine months, so i can plan my leaves and all. pls share ur experience.
Honestly, I lost count because my doctor ordered a scan almost every time I went in! But standard is about 4-5 scans unless you have a stubborn baby who refuses to show their face, haha. Just go with the flow!
Every pregnancy is unique, so the number of scans can vary. It is always safest to follow your gynac's advice on when and how many scans you need. Don't compare with others, just trust your doctor.
In my case, I had a total of 5 scans. One at 7 weeks, then NT at 12 weeks, anomaly at 20 weeks, and two growth scans later on. This was just my personal experience, other doctors might suggest differently.
Haan, normally toh 3 se 4 main scans hote hain na. Pehla dharkan check karne ke liye, phir anomaly scan jo sabse important hota hai. Baki doctor par chhod do, woh sab manage kar lenge.
I am newly married and trying to conceive, and I always wonder about these things. I think there are around 3-4 main scans to monitor the baby. Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy.
Usually, doctors do 3 to 5 main scans throughout the pregnancy. While I always prefer eating fresh and home remedies for minor issues, you must follow whatever scan schedule your gynac gives you. It's the only way to track baby's growth.
Humare yahan toh doctor 3 ya 4 scan hi karte hain poore 9 mahine mein. Ek shuruat mein, ek beech mein bache ki growth dekhne ke liye, aur ek aakhiri mahine mein. Chinta mat karo, sab badhiya hoga.
When I was at my parents' house, my mom accompanied me for all 4 of my scans. It was such a beautiful feeling to see the baby grow step by step. Standard is around 3 to 4 scans for a healthy pregnancy.
I am planning my pregnancy now and was just discussing this with a friend! She told me about dating scan, NT scan, and anomaly scan. It feels like so many milestones to cross, quite exciting and scary!
Having lost a baby earlier, my doctor did scans more frequently—almost every month—just to reassure me that everything was fine. Usually, 3-4 scans are standard, but don't hesitate to get more if your doctor advises for safety.
