First pregnancy here and im trying to understand how many ultrasounds are usually done through the whole 9 months. My gynac mentioned a few but i forgot to ask the total. how many did you all end up having?
I planned for around 4 scans and kept money aside, each was a few thousand depending on the centre. The important ones are non negotiable, dont skip those to save money. Ask ur hospital for a rough estimate so u can budget.
My gynac in India did about 3 to 4 routine scans, the dating, NT, anomaly and a growth scan, plus extra if needed. She said the anomaly scan around 18-20 weeks is the key detailed one. Number can vary by your health, so go by ur doctor's plan.
In my town the doctor did 3 scans only and everything was fine. Dont worry about the exact number beta, just go when they call u. They will guide u properly.
