First time pregnant and i honestly dont know how many scans are normal in the whole 9 months. My friend said she had like 5-6 which sounds a lot to me. How many did u all have?
I have already had 3 scans and I'm only in my 6th month! My next one is the growth scan. Is it normal to have so many scans, or do doctors usually do fewer if there are no complications?
Normally, 4 scans are essential: dating, NT, anomaly, and growth scan. Don't worry about getting too many extra scans unless the doctor sees any risk. It helps save on hospital costs while keeping the baby safe.
Seeing my baby on the screen during those 4-5 scans was the most emotional part of my journey. The NT scan around 12 weeks and the anomaly scan at 20 weeks are the big ones. You will cherish these ultrasound pictures forever!
I can't say how many is standard for everyone, but in my case, my doctor did 5 scans in total. It included the dating scan, NT scan, anomaly scan, and two growth scans later on. Your gynac is the best person to decide based on your health.
It usually depends on how your pregnancy is going, but normally there are about 4-5 scans. I had terrible nausea during my first few scans, so my tip is to always carry a small bottle of water and a lemon to sniff while waiting.
Humare yahan toh doctor 3 ya 4 scan hi karte hain agar sab theek ho toh. Ek toh shuruat me hota hai, fir paanchve mahine me bada scan, aur aakhiri mahine me ek. Agar doctor bole toh hi zyada scan karwana.
