How many sonography required in pregnancy?

First time pregnant and bit confused about all the scans. My doctor mentioned a few but i didnt note properly how many in total through these 9 months. Just want to know whats normal so i can plan.

Im at my 3rd scan now and was wondering same thing. I felt like is it too many? But doc said its routine. Anyone had only 3 and baby was totally fine?

Mine were 4. Depends on your pregnancy, doc decides.

My doc said usually 3-4 scans in a normal pregnancy - dating scan early, NT scan around 11-13 weeks, anomaly scan around 18-20, and growth scan in third trimester. But if any issue, they may ask for more.

Standard is around 3 to 4 yaar. Some docs add extra if needed, no fixed number for everyone. Just go by what your gynac schedules, dont count online lists.

I had 4 scans total. If budget is tight, ask your doc which ones are must, the anomaly scan around 20 weeks is the important one. Some packages include scans, check that while booking hospital.
