Ive already done two scans and my mom thinks thats too many, but my gynac keeps scheduling them. Now im a little confused how many are actually normal through the whole pregnancy. How many did you all end up doing?
Generally three or four are standard in a normal pregnancy. If everything is fine you wont need many more. Dont push for extra scans just to see baby, follow what the doctor advises.
My doctor did around 3 to 4 main scans, the dating scan, the NT scan, the anomaly scan around 20 weeks and a growth scan later. Some need extra depending on the case. Your gynac will schedule them for you.
Usually 3 to 4 routine ones, but they do add up cost wise, so I planned my budget for them. Some clinics bundle them in a package which helped me. Ask your hospital upfront about the scan charges.
