I want to stay active during my pregnancy, and I've heard squats are good. Can someone tell me how many squats are safe to do daily? I don't want to overdo it.
I did about 15-20 squats daily in my third trimester which helped with my normal delivery. But only do it if you have zero complications and your gynac says yes.
There is no fixed number, so always listen to your body first. Start with 5-10 with wall support, and only continue if your gynac has allowed physical exercise.
My pregnancy tracker app recommended starting with 10 to 15 gentle squats a day if the doctor cleared it. Just make sure to monitor your heart rate and don't strain.
Beta, don't do too much heavy exercise if your body is not used to it. Gentle walking is much safer, but do ask your elder family members or doctor first.
With twins, even getting up from the bed felt like 50 squats, so I skipped them! If you have a single pregnancy and the doctor allowed it, 10-15 is plenty.
