Ever since I found out I'm pregnant, I feel like I'm running to the washroom every hour. I'm peeing so much more often than before. Is this frequent urination normal in early pregnancy, and how many times do other women go?
My doctor told me the blood flow increases in the pelvic area, making the kidneys work extra. So peeing 10-12 times a day or even more is totally normal.
Oh I remember those days, felt like I was running to the loo every 20 minutes! Don't worry, it is just the hormones and it gets a bit better in the second trimester.
In early days I was drinking so much juice and coconut water for cravings, I was literally living in the washroom! It is super normal to pee every hour.
I was so scared that maybe I have a UTI because of constant peeing. But actually it's very normal, just make sure there is no burning sensation, otherwise check with doc.
