I have an old pregnancy test kit at home and was wondering about its usage. Can a single pregnancy test be used multiple times, or is it designed for one-time use only?
Look, you can only use a pregnancy test kit exactly once. The chemical reaction only happens the first time it comes in contact with urine. If you want to retest, buy a new kit and use your morning sample.
Same question I had when I first tested! They can only be used once, once it's wet it becomes completely invalid. Did you get a faint line or are you just waiting to test again?
I totally understand how we get so eager and want to keep checking to be absolutely sure. But these kits can only be used once because the little test strip inside reacts only once. Sending you so much love and hoping for the best result.
I just had my baby and honestly, I remember trying to see if I could reuse a strip to save money, but you can only use it once. Once the strip is wet, the chemicals on it are gone. Always use a brand new kit for a fresh test.
Only once, sadly! I wish they were reusable because I must have spent a fortune on those plastic sticks. My sleep-deprived brain can barely remember yesterday, but I definitely know you need a fresh kit every single time.
Haha, unfortunately those kits are strictly single-use only! Believe me, with my pregnancy brain in the 3rd trimester, I've made all kinds of silly mistakes, but reusing a test won't work. Buy a pack of 3 if you want to test multiple times!
