Actually, it varies, yaar. Personally mere toh 5 scans hue the poor pregnancy mein, starting from dating scan to final growth scan. Har trimester mein at least ek ya do toh hote hi hain to check baby's progress, so don't worry.
Haha, honestly it feels like a regular photoshoot for the baby! I think I had around 4-5 scans in total, but some moms get more if the doc wants to be extra safe. Just treat it as a chance to say hello to your little one.
Dekho, normally 4 to 5 scans toh mandatory hote hi hain like NT scan, anomaly, growth scan. Baki depend karta hai aapki pregnancy normal hai ya thoda complications hain. Aapka doctor jitna bole, chupchap kara lo, baby ki safety ke liye hai.
Standard pregnancies usually have about 3 to 4 major scans. First is dating scan, then NT scan at 12 weeks, anomaly scan around 20 weeks, and finally a growth scan. Sometimes they do extra dopplers if needed, so just trust your gynac's schedule.
Currently in my 3rd trimester and I swear I have lost count of how many times I have lain on that cold table with gel on my stomach! I think I've had 4 scans so far, and might have one more before delivery. It is completely normal to have them often to keep an eye on baby.
