Im in second trimester and have done 2 scans till now. Just wondering how many sonographies are normally done in the whole pregnancy, dont want too many also. Whats been ur count?
Beta, usually for a normal pregnancy, they do three to four sonographies. One in each trimester. Too many scans are not always good for baby, so just listen to your doctor, they will tell you exactly what is needed, don't ask for extra.
I am also trying to conceive, so I asked my bhabhi and she told me about this. She said usually doctors recommend about 3-4 scans in a normal pregnancy. But if there's any concern, they might do more. It sounds like a lot, but for baby's health.
Typically, 3-4 ultrasounds are standard for an uncomplicated pregnancy – one in the first trimester, one in the second (anomaly scan), and one or two in the third. More might be needed if there are specific concerns or complications. Your doctor will schedule them based on your needs.
I totally understand wanting to know all the details! It's such an exciting journey. For most pregnancies, you'll likely have around 3-4 sonographies, but your doctor will always decide what's best for you and your little one. Each one is so special, like seeing a little miracle.
Oh, I remember being so curious about this! For me, I had about 4-5 scans throughout my pregnancy. Every scan was a moment of pure joy and anxiety, seeing my baby grow. It really depends on your doctor's advice and your individual case, so follow that.
