Got my first tt shot last visit and gynac said there will be more but i forgot to ask how many total. Now im a little confused about the schedule. Can someone tell how many times it usually is?
My doctor explained the standard is two TT shots in the first pregnancy, the second about 4 weeks after the first. If you had TT in a recent prior pregnancy then just one booster is needed. She marked the dates in my card so I wouldnt forget.
Usually its two doses if its your first pregnancy, given a few weeks apart, or one booster if you had it recently before. Your gynac schedules it as part of your antenatal visits. Just follow the dates she gives, dont miss them.
Beta they gave me two injections, the doctor told me when to come for each. It is for protecting you and baby. Just go on the dates she writes, dont skip.
